Hi I'm Tango and I decided to visit the Eiffel Tower in Paris and I learned so much about it. I found out that the Eiffel Tower is 300 meters tall (984ft). I was also told that it was finished in the 19th century and is twice as high as the Washington Monument. While I was in Paris,someone told me that the Eiffel Tower was built for the world exhibition in 1889. Aparently it was held celebration of the French Revolution in 1789. I also checked that the construction was only meant to last for the duration of the exposion,but still stands today. Thats so awesome to learn about. The Eiffel Tower has become "the city of lights" or the "city of love". I didn't know until the man behind the Eiffel Tower is Gustave Eiffel. The coolest part about my trip was that the Eiffel Tower took two years to be completed and 12,000 iron pieces were designed separetly so it would give it the perfect shape it needed. Approx.7million nails were needed in the construction. WOW! But sadly it is smaller than the Chrysler Building built in 1930. So that was my trip to the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
